Teacher Appreciation Week is one of the busiest times of the year (only because we make it that way, only because we love it that way). In a single week, we did everything from homemade smoothies to homemade peppermint sugar scrub to… my favorite project yet: DIY monogrammed mugs. Thankfully I bought four of these porcelain, oven-to-table French mugs (only about $3.50 each at HomeGoods). Seriously, because I’m going to have to save one for myself.

I found the instructions all over Pinterest so it’s no secret. Simply use a Sharpie for your design…

Bake at 350° for a half hour and let them cool. Others have road-tested them and suggest that you should hand wash since the dishwasher can do a job on your efforts.

Oh, man, I loved these so much I almost kept them (my middle name starts with “L” and my last name ends in “S” so really, they would have worked for me).

A little homemade granola tied up with a pretty little bow and the teachers were in for a real spoiling (and we wouldn’t want it any other way).
