I know there isn’t anything original about this (except my own penmanship). However, it’s a milestone project for me since this white mug has been sitting on my counter (with a Sharpie inside of it) for about three months now. Yeah, distraction is the name of the game these days.
But today, even with all the kids underfoot on this honorable Veterans Day, we pulled off some really creative and productive stuff. I totally lifted this right off of “A Beautiful Mess“. Imitation is the highest form of flattery, no? Follow their instructions to a tea “T” and you can have your own mug that no one dares to sneak out of the cupboard.
I followed the exact same instructions for the project I did here for the teachers’ gifts last year. Which one is my favorite? It’s a toss-up. But at least now I have my own. (And I happen to have some hot water and a bag of decaf chai steeping in it as I type…) Happy Veterans Day and thanks to all of our dedicated and loyal servicewomen and men.
